I think that new mods are a great addition to the site, most of which I've come across one time or another with no issue or complaint.

Tropheus, first time I've seen you on the board, probably because you hang out in the snakehead forum and I don't have one, still nice to see another uk mod here.

I see a few post here thinking that it would be cool to be a mod but in all honesty it would take a huge commitment to do it, IMO what needed in a mod is knowledge experience and time and to be honest the most important is time.

Look at Red devil(liz) she spends a lot of time on the board and has lots of different fish/tanks and experience of a lot of different fish but again the key is time, who better to mod the site than someone who spends the time here.

I posted in the comment and suggestion bit of the site after I had a thread moved, three or four different mods jumped in and tried to take the blame for moving it to the wrong section, including Li... the common answer was ' sorry I've moved a lot of threads recently'

Just goes to show the time and effort involved in case you ever get the call up.

Something to think about....
