This are the result of practising over the years with lousy camera and taking thousands of pictures with it.....:irked::D I'm willing to spend a thousand on a super red arowanan but never on a good DSLR camera...:D

Good to hear that the DW is out. As for that fungus infection, it's no big deal. Just keep it under control and the aro will do the rest by itself. More salt will actually do the trick.

Dude, remove that airtube connected to the outlet of that internal powerhead. I would suggest a good strong airstone is good enough for that tank. Firstly minus the micro bubbles and better view but also good for gas exchange.

water clouded real quick with melafix anyway... but i wanted to hit it quick to get rid of the existing fungus... its all striped back to very sore looking flesh, il water change in a min and add some salt n leave for 24hrs n prob just go with daily WC's till its better or i upgrade..... just pray his barbels grow back! my blacks were just as bad when i got him, thou he was half the size his did grow back.... fingers crossed!

No worries. Aro are tough by nature. You can do water change but becaredul of the ph crash if you do it too much and too fast. And this will not help with the cure.
