but better to mix same size or silver a little smaller, i tried before to mix a bigger silver and it beat the hell out of my red, so i had it exchanged for a smaller one, so far they really get along. i think the red doesn't think the silver is an arowana lol :D

Happened to my red previously too. Silver can be pretty mean if they want to.:eek:

i have been told for silvers


males: lower jaw protrudes above upper jaw

females: lower jaws ends short of upper jaw

seems very clear in my two ?? !!
in the lower picture i posted the female is facing you.
