I gave a away a 10 year old gold fish when I had to move once, I am still crying over that one, he was a BEAUTIFUL specimen and a good breeder.
I had a 9.5 year old eel jump out of the tank and die on me.
Current oldest fish is a tilapia that was seven last March.

too many to list individually.. average time of owning and raising them is 5 to 12 years, some are even older because owned before me and were rescued ...like Jaquar and a red devil ... The ones i raised Arowana, Adonis, gold fish, columbian sharks, 2 red devils, frontosus synodontis cat, 7 frontosa...clown loaches are in this 5 years to 12 years bracket....the most interesting old guy of all is a hybrid african cichlid... he is so old his back is bent and he is turning somewhat gray.. he has been with me through it all... pacu tank exploding..etc.. he survived.. he lives with a 16 inch red devil.. he is just an amazing fish....about 12 years old..

LFS down the street has a aro over 20 years old. I think someone actually started a thread similar to this one but only for aros and I think one was 27. Cant fully remember though so it doesnt count.
