Here's how i catch my monsters! Those 'Asian Fighting Fis' can be some nasty little boogers. Sometimes i have to break out the big net!

This fly fishing net has served me well. I've caught everything from pbass to aros with it. That's a 2 liter bottle inside of it.

Most fish landing nets are too coarse and damage fish. I use an opened wire coat hanger, some clothes pegs and a suitable sized heavy duty plastic bag. Once the fish is in, unpeg and remove as much water as you can. If its a LARGE fish/bag, you may need a landing net there to lift out. I find a clear plastic bag is easier to trick fish into than a pillowcase.

I always just cut up a t-shirt and kinda wrap it in the t and just pick it up. Seems to do little to no damage to the fish so I would say its a good option. I have done it many times.

i find it easyer if move fish with a smaller net i just moved a 22inch tig with a 10inch net

just make sure the fish goes in head 1st the surport the tail

but for the lil squirmy ones just sit back and cast a line with some bait and wam

but i use those lil ones at petco or what ever the green ones
i use the 10" ones and just double it up for the big guys
