The Spurs are dangerous, and have the ability to make a nice run this year, and they may not have all their peices yet either...

The Ariza thing: I've only sen the replay, and it's hard to tell, all I can hope for is with this call and the Lebron call, maybe they are going to start cracking down on it, and the only way that the players will notice is if it's on a game winner.

I can agree, but the Ariza play was not a travel. Not even close. Step-bump-step-shot. It would have been a better no-call.

agreed, a non call would have been better and wouldnt have affected the outcome IMO, did you see the kind of shot he took before he realized he was called for steps, didnt have a chance of going in...

Bayless got some playing time last night for POR, since Blake is out. He had a nasty dunk that was on SC, but he had a nice game too. He's a guy I really thought would have a big year for POR, but Blake has been solid. Bayless did look like he put some weight on though, which is good, and I still think he will be a very good player in the league.

PD that Stuckey pick up is working out nice for you.

Think about this, in Detroit there is a big controversy because when Rip was out we won some games, and now he's back, so what do you do. I talked about it earlier, about how he may have to get benched. Right now they are running their cute little small line-up and they are junk, it will have to change.
Whats crazy though is the fact that Rodney Stuckey's play is going to force either Richard Hamilton or Allen Iverson to go to the bench. That is a pretty big deal if you ask me. To think one of them is going to the bench because of Stuckey really shows how well he is playing, and how good the Pistons think he will be.

You're telling me. He's putting up numbers. I would use Rip or Iverson to go after a big. Benching one of them will not mesh well. They need to use their problem to their advantage. Personally, I'd market Rip. He scores, that's it. Iverson at least fills other stats. If one would agree with the bench, they'd have the best 6th in the league, but it won't happen. And they'd be insane to bench Stuckey. The guy's chasing triple-doubles with regularity.

I'm excited for tonight's games! Cle-NO then ORL-LAL.....the three best teams in the league playing btb on ESPN, then throw in NO, nice. Let's see if Orl can hand LA a second loss this year...:naughty:

Orl over LAL 109-103.....

Hell of a good game. Kobe had his first triple-double in almost 4 YEARS! I didn't realize it had been that long. Howard going 20-20 again, Nelson proving he's clutch, tons of lead changes.....that would be an awesome finals.

I agree that they should shop one of them, and it would no doubt be rip, but I'm not sure if cap wise that makes sense. Rip did just get signed so if you could match the numbers straight up it would work, but they have cap room and that the best free agent on the market. They might just have to bear it till next year, then start making some moves.

Anybody see Iguadola's THREE buzzer beaters in the past two games? The last one, today, was crazy. Jumped, caught the ball over his head and shot (3pt) all while in the air. Very nice. Philly's showing good signs lately. I could see them being the team to stir things up as the playoffs get closer. Not win it all, just knock some teams out.

Lakers weakness exposed..Pg spot, defense and rebounding...fisher doesnt have what it takes anymore to play 40 mins. a game chasing quicker younger guards,,against the sours it was mason then against the magic it was nelson

kobe's ave a lot of assists lately but the lakers dont seem to have what it takes to knock a team out early all their past games have been down the wire
