in games like these teams have no one to blame but themselves, not the refs...if they took care of business (cle) and put the pacers away they wouldnt need to go down the wire..

I agree, plus hearing the coach of the guy who gets more calls than anybody else in the league, complaining about not getting calls is just hilarious.

I completely agree with you guys. The refs can't make every call correctly, it's impossible. What is needed is consistency, both calls were consistent. Why they would complain about that call is amazing, since they had JUST been the beneficiary of the same call. At the beginning of the year, I was excited to see the Cavs showing such promise. But at this point, all the whining has me hoping for a 1st round stomping to send them home. For me personally, there's one slightly altered phrase that applies here....."Don't cry about it, be about it." And I also agree about Brown. Without LeBron there, he doesn't exist.

That said....thats 2 losses in a row for the Cavs.

the cavs behave like the league owes them something, specially the "sympathy" all star...pathetic in my book..you dont see melo crying about not making the team, and nobody in his right mind would say mo is more deserving than melo...

here's a recent poll among NBA players, asked if who they want taking the last shot with the game on the line...

Before opening it, I was thinking who would I pick, besides Kobe of course, and I thought that I might choose Billups. Now, I watched him for a long time in Detroit, and he earned his nickname, but also towards the end of his time here, he was starting to lose it. Having said that, still if the ball was in his hands at the end, and he wasn't just looking for a foul, I feel just as confident that he would make the shot as anybody in the league, minus Kobe.

Thats my point, but it is worth saying though, over the last few years he has gotten away from hitting the big shot, to go for a foul at the end, and that really decreased his effectivness in the clutch.

Did you guys see the end of the Heat & Bulls game last night? Besides the crazy steals (on the inbound pass), that play at the end was one of the better late game inbound plays I've seen. If Spoelstra drew that one up, props to him.

spoelstra's a good coach, i never imagined he'd get the heat to be competitive so soon..with the team being undersized and all...:)

I'm on the verge of thinking that Spoelstra is good too, but I'm not sure yet. A healthy Wade gets you a ton of wins on his own, and their record really isn't that good. We'll see how they do with O'Neal now. I think he will help them out much more than Marion did.
