heres the latest on the VC to spurs rumors...

"No offense to Vince; obviously he's an excellent player," Duncan said. "We'd love to have him. But to give up most of our team to add one guy, I don't think that's the way you want to go."
And ...
"It's a long season and we have a lot of guys who have been here a long time and understand the way we want to play," Duncan said. "Just to insert one new piece and try to teach him in half a season the way we want to play isn't the way that we work."

OUCH vince seems like duncan to isnt to VINSANE to have you around...LMAO

I agree with you, but I got a guy who thinks it was pretty much all Malone, and that Stockton was a niche player (pick and roll), and not even top 10 PG.

Ask that guy how he manages to put his shoes on in the morning, because he's retarded. Stockton added pages to the book Magic wrote. Stockton is, and always will be, one of the greatest pg, pure pg, to ever play the game. Ask the guy if that means CP3 is a niche player, too. Because for every p/r assist Stockton has, CP3 has an oop assist, usually to Chandler. :grinno: A pick and roll is not exactly easy to run with good defense, and harder to run than simply throwing the ball toward the rim for a 7' giant to catch it and throw it down.

I hadn't even heard about the Vince to SA deal, which would go down as one of the stupidest trades in history. I can only imagine all the guys NJ would be expecting in return. And to be quite honest, yes Carter puts up numbers, but he's just not a winner. Never has, never will be. He plays a game that revolves around his own numbers. That won't work in SA.

Phoenix firing Porter is just down right stupid. How can you expect a guy to produce when you keep moving and removing from the team he has? And they're STILL not done moving. I don't know what the hell they're trying to do down there, but it has no meaning. They've shipped out half the team. Pencil Phoenix in for some seats in the playoffs....meaning in the crowd. :screwy:

I'm with you, but this guy does know a lot about hoops, but for some reason he is just whacked out on this one. He said right now he would take CP3 or Deron over Isaiah too...

:ROFL:those 2 wouldnt even hold iversons jock in his prime, let alone isiah's...isiah was tough as nails, and didnt back down from anyone, his tough as nails attitude was the force that drove the bad boys engine...

CP3, deron= good
isiah= great

until they have led their teams to the title or even a finals appearance, they cant be mentioned in the same sentence as isiah...

Hornets threw in the towel for the season..they shipped chandler to the thunder for some expiring contracts and some player who was picked 50th overall during whatever draft...

plus it's good bye cassel for boston, traded to the kings for get this a second round pick in 2015...why the kings agreed to this is beyond me, why pay a guy you wont use...

I actually like this move for NO. They dump Chandler and his $, and I think he is over-rated anyway, and they get back a vet in Smith, and Wilcox. Maybe it's because I'm a Wilcox slappie, but I think he'll help this team with one of their big issues. Softness. They are a nice cute little team with Paul and Peja, but now you throw Wilcox down low with West, and Smith off the bench, your front court can really get after it.
I don't mind it for OKC either because Tyson fits their style more.
