Well yesterday ended up being a great trip. Left the dock at 4am and got back at 8pm. 'Twas a long day. 4 hour haul each way. Went 2-8 on Marlin. Landed 2 whites. Missed 5 and a blue. Being the first trip of the season we were a little rusty and slow on dropping baits and such. Some boats did get any tho so it was a good day!

Cool pics my fishing has been worse than ever as we moved to a terrible area and then I caught Lyme disease so now I can't do anything

Battle through the Lyme disease! My brother was also affected by it and has since lived to the fullest despite it.

Got some short fluke in the back bay this morning. Not many 18+ around

They love their own kind more than anything......cannibals lol Strips of Searobin meat also work wonders, but as w/ any Flounder or Fluke, they get much more aggressive when you bump it along the bottom ......it's easy from a boat, all u do is NOT drop the anchor

Strips of flounder skin has always been killer for me as well. But you gotta find the keepers. I have yet to catch a keeper this season
 
Yeah flatfish stocks aren't what they were, but I keep hearing they r trying to stock and breed them
