With Lebron James and Chris Bosh now in Miami a championship is inevitable right? WRONG!! at least in my opinion..I'm wondering how the hell Miami is going to pay these guys..And not to mention three very big egos in one team..I know LBJ and Wade are friends and all but still, who will take the last shot with the game on the line? What if one of them gets injured? Do they have a deep enough bench to count on? This is very different from when Boston had their big 3..I mean these guys were already passing their prime and were willing to take a different role than being the main superstar of the team..Will Miami be able to do the same? They will indeed become a powerhouse team..Imagine going into the 4th quarter with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh on the floor to close out the game..But still, is it enough to win a championship? A great championship caliber team will consist of 5 starters with great teamwork and chemistry, a reliable ball captain, a great coach, and a deep bench...Not just 3 Big Superstars..IMO...How about you guys? What are your thoughts on this sudden shift of power balance?

I agree.... too many stars means they'll try to outshine each other. That would be a coaching nightmare. The whole town seems to be loving it though. Aquarium is even giving price discounts if you wear Heat shirts to the park.

I agree... what if Wade and Bosh each have 20 points and Lebron has 4.. He'll more than likely start forcing his shot..in turn Wade will tell him to pass more and Lebron will get offended, and so on and so forth...they might win one though but not this season

The same questions were asked about Boston 3 years ago, the same type of articles about how it won't work and it'll take time for them to gel was written about them 3 years ago. You know the results, championship in the first year. Other then a few bench players from Miami (posey, house) the rest of the roster was pretty much no names. Heck, remember how new the point guard was? All 3 of the big 3 were THE star on their respected clubs and the leading scorer (garnett in minnesota who almost made the finals twice if LA wasn't in the way, Ray Allen who'd always been a star weather beside rashard lewis in seattle or early days in milwaukie with vin baker, heck, he had his own movie, Pierce had been a boston lifer and in the mid 2000s had boston on a lucky streak along with Antoine Walker)

I'm not saying Miami will win a championship this year, im just saying recent history says it can be done. Does lebron really need to play the style he was playing in miami? I say his coach needs to define his role. Miami may have the management personnel to actually TELL lebron how they want to utilize him instead of mike brown letting lebron dictate things

KG, Pierce and allen never had the Ego and narcisism of a Queen james..James Ego and posse will ultimately destroy this dream team...I used to think that shaq was the most egotistical selfish player there was turn out he got nothin on this kid..

made an hour long special to spit on the face of his hometown..

He better not play when the heat visit cleveland..it might get ugly

Bosh is the weak link..if they dont get front court help the rupaul of big men can be abused, by the frontline of the magic, Lakers, boston and even the mavs..

Bosh is not even a superstar IMO. He has won 3 playoff games and has missed the playoffs 5 times in 7 years, a superstar guarantees that you win 45 games regardless of who is on the team. Wade is a perfect example this year he made the playoffs with no PG, a washed up PF/C in Jermaine O'Neal, and the perennial underachiever in Micheal Beasley.

W T F MIami got Wade, Bosh, and Le bron and we still lost the World Cup to Spain?

D Mystic Octopus says the Heat will 3 peat as NBA champions in the next 5 to 6 years;)

Exciting times in Miami, guys.....

Octupussy also says The Dolphins will win a third Super Bowl and the Hurricanes will repeat as College Worls Series baseball champions and College football champions and the Marlins will top them all during these times....and the Panthers will remain cellar duellers in their league....Can't have them all......

i have a feeling that Miami isnt going to well. like said before with those 3 on the same team, they are going to outshine eachother.. but who knows.

I think that Lebron can't play any other way except how he played in Cleveland..He will struggle if he is asked to play a lesser role..Being the main man of the team is how he played his entire life.. How do you expect him not to shoot and shoot and shoot all the more with wade and bosh to pick up the slack if he doesn't get it done..Lebron is a very very skilled athlete and has done some amazing things, but to enter into a team of another superstar of the same caliber, whether they are friends or not, and accept whatever role the coach gives you, is a feat only veteran, great players like Kevin Garnett can do...The only reason Boston's big 3 meshed together because it was a mixture of old greats with some juice left and new blood players like Davis and Rondo...These guys just wanted to win because they know that their years as players are numbered and they have gotten past their superstar days...Miami doesn't even have a decent point guard...Wade can play the point but its not his comfort zone so he will have a hard time... And Miami expects these 3 superstars which are in the prime shape of their life and having egos sky high (well Wade and James at least), and not to mention that they still have something to prove to themselves, which is IMO carrying their team into the Finals and winning it all and being the Finals MVP, To set aside their differences not only in their game but also in their personalities, To get along, pretend everything is all fine and dandy and go all the way and win it.. Well winning an NBA championship is not as easy as putting three powerhouses into a team and just sit back and relax..It takes a whole lot more than that..I think they will win alot of games and be a force to reckon with but come playoffs, one of the better teams with solid defense and a deep bench will prevail..Miami's Menage a trois won't work
