This thread is based on what amounts to halfcocked/halfcooked psychobabble. It's more like psychobubble that will burst with a touche from the Heat fueled by three rocket thrusters.

Once they get past the regular season, the home court advantage hell-like heat they build for the rest of the playoffs will melt any challenging team into oblivion and burst your psychobubble.....that my friend you can take to the bank....talk to you guys again after six seasons....;):screwy:

I think that Lebron can't play any other way except how he played in Cleveland..He will struggle if he is asked to play a lesser role..Being the main man of the team is how he played his entire life.. How do you expect him not to shoot and shoot and shoot all the more with wade and bosh to pick up the slack if he doesn't get it done..Lebron is a very very skilled athlete and has done some amazing things, but to enter into a team of another superstar of the same caliber, whether they are friends or not, and accept whatever role the coach gives you, is a feat only veteran, great players like Kevin Garnett can do...The only reason Boston's big 3 meshed together because it was a mixture of old greats with some juice left and new blood players like Davis and Rondo...These guys just wanted to win because they know that their years as players are numbered and they have gotten past their superstar days...Miami doesn't even have a decent point guard...Wade can play the point but its not his comfort zone so he will have a hard time... And Miami expects these 3 superstars which are in the prime shape of their life and having egos sky high (well Wade and James at least), and not to mention that they still have something to prove to themselves, which is IMO carrying their team into the Finals and winning it all and being the Finals MVP, To set aside their differences not only in their game but also in their personalities, To get along, pretend everything is all fine and dandy and go all the way and win it.. Well winning an NBA championship is not as easy as putting three powerhouses into a team and just sit back and relax..It takes a whole lot more than that..I think they will win alot of games and be a force to reckon with but come playoffs, one of the better teams with solid defense and a deep bench will prevail..Miami's Menage a trois won't work

Keep in mind that they have played 2 entire summers together before in the world competition and the olympics. I believe the crunch time line up usually consisted of chris paul, bosh, kobe and some combination of lebron, wade, and carmelo at power forward and small forward (or wade at SG and kobe at SF).

In the final game spain applied a little pressure after kobe and lebron got in foul trouble early on and wade came off the bench and carried the scoring,. When spain started to catch up and test the USA in the 4th.....they ALL defered to kobe and actually told reporters in interviews that they went to kobe and told him to bring that black mamba back. THat was 2 years ago, lebron and wade's egos had to have been bigger then they are now.

As a laker fan I don't want to see this experiment work, i'm just pointing out that in recent history it HAS worked. If lebron wanted to be THE man and vice versa with Wade, they could've gone else where. They've already checked their ego by going to the same team.

BTW, a superstar does not gurantee 45 win season by himself. You can look at recent history with kobe with 05 and 07, both under 45 wins. You would've considered those kobe's prime years including his 81 point outbursts.
