I have one of those Microglanis iheringi. They are a really cool fish. Closest thing I have ever owned to a bigger catfish, lol. IMO he acts like one. He hides all day then when there is food he comes out and stuffs himself, then hides again, lol. I like him a lot. I bought him at walmart (i know it was a sin) but it he was a screw up (they shouldnt have had him, he was mixed in with other fish) so i got him crazy cheap, like for the price of a neon or something. They just wrote a random number on the bag because they didnt know what it was, lol.

You should post pics of this tank when you get it set up. It sounds like it's going to be really interesting.
 
this 15gal may not happen it just depends i guess i will but i might run a differnt route
