look into DE filters, you can run one during a WC to polish the water.

I had the same problem. I found that the moist krill pellets I use is a major culprit in the finer debris floating around. I run 3 bigger canisters on my tank which you would think would be enough but its not. I added a Koralia power head at one end and it seems to be much clearer now. The circulation I created brings the debris closer to my intakes for more efficient filtration.
just an update
dxdx i went with ur Purigen tip,im on my 2nd bottle/jar of it now. the 1st 1 i put it all in a pantyhose and put it in the top tray in canister reason i used the pantyhose was the bag that came with the Purigen was too big mesh wise about 30% of the Purigen went tro it.
thing is im thinking its a waste of money really if you think of it..im paying for something that takes micro dirt out and putting it in pantyhose with very fine mesh the pantyhose is doing the work really but ill keep using it i guess seeing as its rechargeable
