micro particles

If you're using the stock Fluval hose you'll need a couple barbed reducers, a couple hose clamps, and a couple small sections of silicone hose to connect to the sterilizer. I would also reduce the flow as you want more dwell time for the sterilizer to work. The pictures do look more like bacterial bloom than microbubbles.

i had a bacterial bloom the day before for that picture but i turned on my fluval uv sterilizers so its gotten a bit better
 
Are you sure they aren't fine particles of sand substrate floating around? It looks more dusty than micro bubbles.

that's the problem, I don't really know what they are. I'm just trying to get rid of them no matter what they are, it could be the fine white sand fish occasionally kickup but its too many particles to be just fish-related I think.
 
Did you rinse the sand before putting it in? A lot of sands will produce a ton of tiny particles when you spray it in a bucket.
 
yeah i rinsed the sand many many times and the tanks been going for few years now, most of the fine sand should be gone

I had a issue with my FX6 blowing the micro bubbles the problem was i had a sponge in the very bottom of the tray it was very fine i forgot what grade but it had a lot of small holes in it if held up to light you could see light thru it i broke it down and added the blue sponge from Fluval and they stopped
 
Ive seen this before years ago and its a protozoan just barely visible with the naked eye.
what you can do is do an extra water change or two and feed every other day for a while. Its from an over abundance of nutrients (usually from over feeding). that should clear it up. that will get the numbers down and the tank should clear up
