Micro Wounded(?) & On bottom

I put a columbian tetra which had been fin-nipping my other fish in the display tank into my Micro's tank. Mirco went for it, crashing all around the tank & I think he hit/scrapped himself on the tank. Didn't get the tetra

Now he's on the bottom, hiding behind a rock. Barely moves/comes to the surface & won't EAT anything, doesn't even chase the tetra. Noticed his sides looked like they have scrapped off scales.


Not sure if he injured himself real bad OR since he's had some kind of holes on his head(sick) that the minor shock of hitting himself has pushed him over the edge.


Really worried as its been 2 1/2 days so far

agreed , i would not worry too much , he will probably stay fairly quite for a while ,but theese fish have very good recovery from most things.

keep us all updated fc , one of my aurantis did the same last week after chasing one of the others around the tank , but he came round ok just a big scale missing from his head

like they said,
i wouldnt worry.
my SHs,aro and some other fish have crashed around before and hid just like your channa.
they would be very skittish as well but would come around after a while.

Yay, he's better! Still not swimming as much/gracefully, but he's eating(ate the tetra & krill) & swimming round now. So happy

common stuff 2 haf micros crashing around uR tank... but i'm glad his fine now...
