Fisher, that's been my point on here,Largies tankmates better be inanimate objects or he's gonna' show his dislikes for them!!!! One guy was like"i got a bowfin and a pacu with mine" i was like ok dude, tell it from the mountain,i think he left out the part that he had dividers in his tank!!!Hehehehehehe:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

My largemouth lived with an Oscar peacefully before the oscar got an infection and died, now he lives with a Pacu, no problems. Oh, by the way, you are Yelling your posts. LOL

Well check it,i don't know where your's balls went, but i got a juvie that will NOT accept anything but food living in that tank!!! I guess mine is tapped,i can't call it because mine has no f'n part in tankmates..............maybe you got a female....hehehehe,just kidding dude, your my brother in this fish game dude.....Peace:):):):):)):):):):D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Largmouths typically aren't aggresive fish. You will find that many fishes high up on the food chain are in fact peaceful. Pickerel, peacock bass, catfish...they don't bother fish they know they cannot eat. It's the smaller fish that have to fight to survive and are thus aggresive, Obviously it varys from individual to individual but it's pretty normal for largemouths to be passive. My largemouth is very passive, he gets bossed around by a longear the same size and a rock bass that's smaller than him, nothing serious but the LMB knows his place in the tank and it's not on top. Mine also eat's pellets...I feel bad for anyone who owns one that dosen't.

I got a terror........and he only eats LIVE food:(:(:(:(:(:(: How long did it take you to get him on pellets?? That would soooooooooo rule if mine munched pellets,so i can soak 'em in vita-chem.......SUPER MICRO!!!!! I also have no prob feedin' him live food. 24 Nightcrawlers is like 3.5014 bucks for 96 worms aint bad
i can give him 96 worms over the course of at least a good couple months, then theres crickets at 10 cents a peice, and mealworms, and zebra danios(as a treat),THEN......comes the mice........YES!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

I didn't have to do anything to get mine on to pellets, he just started taking them once they would fit in his mouth.

Mine isn't exactly peacful but he isn't agressive by a long shot. Sure he eats anything that will fit into his mouth but then again.....pretty much every fish does. My bass lives with a bowfin and a redfin pickerel for now. I am going to seperate him and the bowfin from the pickerel though soon. Also mine eats live foods, pellets, or frozen foods. He doesn't bother any of my plants either.

My bass beat the hell out of an oscar that was smaller than it, but left one alone the smae size as it.

Ok,so what do you guys suggest?? Feeding him good then starving for two weeks?? Because EVERY time,EVERY TIME i give him ANYTHING prepared,he spits it out. So what do i do?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I know they can go(when their healthy)like 3+ weeks without food,so is this an option??? Help much apreciated:D:D:D:D
