This guy is a pure, both parents are stripe Midas. He just turns out a little weird lol.

He's slowly losing some of the black so don't know how much will be left once he's full grown. Right now he's about 8-9" TL.


Here's a pic of him and a female when I first received him last October at about 6".

My midas went through a few different colors before ending up how he is now... when he was 7-9" he went through puberty

Here's a few pix of my male Midas cichlid.

This is an amazing fish! Congrats on keeping him in top condition!! I really like the "black" coloration on him - I hope that won't fade away as he grows some more.
