My Midas (10 inch ) is constantly attacking and bullying my Oscar
(9 inch) so what can I do about this or do I have to sell my Midas ?
The Oscar is now constantly hanging in the top corner trying to flee from him .
And the weird thing is that the Midas only goes after the Oscar and leaves every other fish alone.

Sorry for the bad Pictures

I'm sure one morning you'll wake up and the oscar will be beat to hell or dead. I'd remove the Midas.

I'll say it once, and ill say it again. Oscars should always be the largest cichlids in the tank, just not large enough to eat the others. Even then it may not work. I agree with ehh, remove one or the other.

Oscars shouldn't be housed with fish like Midas/red devil/midevil because more often than not they get beaten and killed. Remove one or the other

I agree, Let them be the gentle giants. My oscar really could eat half the fish that share the tank with him if he really pursued them.

I would go with a 75 for a minimum for a Midas this fish could reach 15 inches. Sad that the big bad Oscar everyone fears is such a wimp. By that statement I mean Oscars in general. They appear to have been mislabeled. If you can find a way to keep your Midas I would it is a nice looking fish.

People come into my store all time talking about how oscars are the most aggressive fish ever.
