Man that midas is absolutely stunning. I swear he looks just like the old guy you had. And it is nice to see him in a nice large home.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. He does look a lot like my old male. Would love if he would get some more white, but it is coming slowly. I am actually wanting to get back in contact with Brett Raymer from ATM(aka "Tanked") and try and get that 300g+ I have been wanting for him. If I do, I might get him that female finally.

"Junior" doesn't seem a very fitting name these days! When do you start calling him Senior?

I have thought the same, but not sure what I would rename him too. The kids came up with the name. Maybe it should be a MFK voter's pole.

Yeah, he hasn't bothered anyone really. Even the salvini's fry are free swimming and have been straying into his area every now and then. he allows the parents time to get them with no aggression.

He's thick! Still has the baby face to him though so pretty sure alot more growing to do. Heck he's already bigger than my guy lol.

Has a baby face, but he is 2yrs and 4 months old. Might end up like Pei's old male which didn't have a large hump. Seems to be slowly coming in more and more though if you compare him to older videos.

What do you feed him? And how often? Tank temperature?

2 Brands of Hikari, Aqueon, OmegaOne, Monster KoK(Extream red just to mix it up since I no longer can find Wardley) and occasional blood worms. I feed them once after I head off to work between 06:30-08:00 and again around 4:30 when I get home. Temp is 80 degrees.

TANK... absolute tank. I can't believe he does not touch any of those little guys in there. Great setup bro!!!

Yeah, he stays pretty calm until he sees me with my Python to clean the tank. lol
