Midas Complex - shall we create a visual guide?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Amarillo have an more compact tear shaped body shape. Their base color is yellow, or golden brown and might have some red in chest. The isletasis much grayer bodied. Less barring and the red shaded shoulder and head.
The chanco is brown brown brown. Is is a tan or dull brown. And ive yet to see them have any other color, or strong barring or loss of any of those spots on the side of the body. The hoga is similar to the isletas and amarillo except a lot more red features in fins and face. I mean i can easily tell them apart in my fish tank. And i think if you put me to the test by now i can tell them apart if shown random pictures. The one im having hard telling apart is the new rapps red isletas as its starting to look just like a hoga or amarillo juvenile.

Thank You Woofy.

And how would you distinguihs any of those 3 barred ones from barred citrinellum or from a barred Saliosus, as we have recently seen in a revived thread?

And are there barred xilos?
