Good plan mate , any closer to getting a solo tank for him ? My tanks kicked off they've killed my mates bass he's not happy
I told him it was risky my cichlids are aggressive as they grew up with the evil jardini , on plus side female jags settled into the mix nicely seems to have claimed my big male

the in the last shot had a battle with the 11-12 inch butti and came out even, he is only 9 inch!

Damn! Awesome set up you got. Guess I'm a little new because I have never heard of a piebald before haha. Truly a sick looking a fish. Do they keep the black patterns or does it change over time?

should keep it at this size, he is 11 inch, but because i dont know his history i cant be sure... sometimes on rare occasions midas and/or red devil dont peel until they are adults and then the process tends to be alot more long winded i.e 2 years plus and my original male is still changing... hopefully he keeps his pattern though!-)
