Midas or Midevil?

Are midas and midevil the same aggression level ??.. possibly purchase some at imperial tropical not sure if its true midas or midevil

I've seen you jumping into discussions and asking this a few times now, including bumping this thread that is 4 yrs old. Hopefully this solves the mystery for you. Not all fish of the same species, will have the same aggression levels. It often comes down to individual behaviour. A "true" midas will typically be sold as an Amphilophus citrinellus, a "true" red devil will typically be sold as an Amphilophus labiatus. Those are the correct Latin names. Anything else typically points to the fish being of mixed blood, or what is commonly referred to as a midevil.

Thank you!. So the one that's sold on imperial tropical is true midas then correct??
 
I have. Still no response.. On there web page it's label Amphilophus Citrinellus but there's a lot of Midas that's aren't even midas(midevil)
