midas or red devil???

look at the mouth red devils have a v shaped where midas have a u shaped midas body are taller than red devils.but just to asure you that your getting what you want if you want the midas get it from a reputable breeder such as ken davis aka(fish farm)or jeff rapps hard to find true midas at lfs hope this helps.thats a midas in my avater look at the tall body shape and the u shaped mouth.FRANK194;2678877; said:
Yeah Jeff Rapps has some awesome examples right now! Red Devils are alittle longer looking and they have large lips.
Midas are stocky usually have bigger nuchals and they're lips are not so big.
To my understanding, Red Devils are meaner than Midas but both IMO just awesome fish!

Here's a Midas next to a Devil. Obviously the colors don't mean anything as far as identification goes.
Some WC RD loses their big lips in once in captivity.
Look at the lip from the top, like Midtae says RDs will have a V shape to the top lip while Midas will have a U curve.
