looking good man I like all the pots you have in the tank too sweet

Keeps agression down. I don't like dividers though you see one in the video. Thats keeping Jr, The dominent one from batch 1 safe. I have 3 pots only she can fit in with 1 huge pot they both can fit in no problem. Has worked with all my Midas/Trimacs in the past and leads to more successful breeding then a divider in my experiance and almost no aggression .

Same, which is what this male has. His son has lost almost all his black now. here is a video of him acouple days ago. In this Video he is half way, now I would say he is 95% done. Very little black now. Again, sorry for the crappy quality.

Unfortunantly no. Unless from a reputable source 99% of the time it is going to be a hybrid of some type with one trait or the other being dominent and making it look like a RD or a Midas. Sucks.

Thanks, yeah the black thats left kind looks kind of looks blue because of the fading. Mo is 8" and Cleo is about 7". Mo's finally getting the real chunky look and hump is even bigger today then in the Video. I think it has to do with no fry. They bred again after I took out the last bacth so I syphoned the fry and fed them to the others. First time I seen him get agressive with her, but the pots gave her spots to stay and he chilled out.

As far as Damion, I want to grow him out aswell. See what my Nurturing from hatching Vs Jeff's will go. In another month Damion will be almost as big as his mom at this rate.

here they are a few mins ago. Coloration withing acouple days has changed and you can see, Damion is gaining on his father. For the first year you have a cichlid they grow about an inch a month after the first month. After a year they start to slow. I think mine are over a year already. So this experiment should prove intresting.

Wont be long and the divider might have to get moved to the left a little more.
