Midas question/problem?

I am wondering if these holes are sensory pits or HITH. My midas has one on each side of his head, they are perfectly round about the size of a pencil lead in pretty much same place. i tried to get a good pic but my camera isnt that great so it kinda looks like a dimple in the pics but in actuality it is a prefect circle. I though it was HITH so I treated him with hole in the head guard twice and it hasnt got worse or better it is just the same. he acts prefectly fine and eats normal no stringy poop or anything. i never noticed the holes until his hump started growing big. i just need to know if and what it is ,also i have started useing vitamins, he eats hakri cichlid excel, frozen blood worms, and brine shrimp

it might be the beginnings of hith. just change water more frequently.

Sensory Pits. Just keep up water changes and he will be fine. The ones on his head are larger then what I have seen, but look like SP to me. If it was HiTH they would not be in the same spot on both sides of the head and would be all over.

I agree with them being SP I see nothing else that would suggest HITH. He looks good just stay on top of the WC's.

thanks i do weekly water changes on his tank, i was just worries cause i never noticed them before his hump started getting big.
