Hello all, my Midas/Red devil pair has spawned a few days ago, they moved the wigglers off the drift wood into a pit im the sand, my question is when is it safe to relocate the fry into a grow out tank? I was thinking a week or so after they become free swimming, thx in advance,

Longer you leave fry with parents the stronger mated pair bond gets, fry grows better and you enjoy parenting behavior. Although you can remove at anytime, BUT dont take all. Male may kill female if all babies disappear. He typically holds her responsible. Leave 30%+ with parents. Fry survival ratio much higher longer with parents

Alexxx, if you're talking to me, I can't be certain it is pure bred Midas. I do have few fry from him and f1 solid dark orange female Midas mashaAllaah. If you want a few pups I can send them if you pay shipping.
