The home of the CHIEEEFS
Moving my midas to his new home and really want something besides him in the 75 . Will anything live with them tried my fh almost killed him in 30 sec , tried a convict and he tried to make a jailbreak lol , you guys know of anything:headbang2

How about a nice specimen of DRIFTWOOD..

YOU FREGOT ACTION FIGURES!

I think the devil would even kill the plecos.

If you want to add anything to this tank I would stick to things that cannot be killed, so unless you have any immortal cichlids near you, the only other thing that would do well in there would be rocks, driftwood, action figures (though I personally hate putting "unnatural" things in a tank), or other decor.

kinda figured that but doesnt hurt to ask , what species rock should i get and how large will it grow  . thanks for the info guys

Even in a large tank tank mates for a Midas are trial and error. A Midas can gro to between 12"-15", depending on whether its a male or female.

I like bluestone, slate, and river rock specimens... And this may surprose you, but after long periods under the flow of the water, these interesting species actually SHRINK!
They are primarily bottom dwellers, and sometimes can lay on top of each other. Good luck :naughty:
