Here is my Midas collection:) First off is the growout group in my 180g there are 7 in here with my festae pair, red texas and blue port. these guys have grown very fast and its getting time to start re-homing these. I have a pair forming now and its starting to upset the chain of command with the festae pair.... I have a barred and colored/creamsickle pair so i dont need any more pairs spawning lol. I will use the fry i have for future growouts and dithers for my festae, but these big guys need to start finding a new home;) I say the largest is now 6.5-7" and has a very nice profile, the female he is pairing out with is also very nice. these are all F1 pure midas, no hybrids in the genetics.

Here are some more pics i took today:) these Midas are turning out really nice. The pair in the 180 are getting ready to spawn and are doing a good job holding down their side of the tank, even running off the festae pair lol. There isnt any damage to any fish, just some minor aggression. Ive been thinking about pulling all the females out to decrease the aggression and keep the midas from dominating my festae tank.
