Midas with Festaes ?

I see everyone talk about Midas and Red Devils...how they have personality and are aggressive. Seen some nice ones that are kept by other members here. I'm starting to like them when they never appealed to me before.

I'm currently growing some wild festaes that are currently from about 1.5 inches to 4 inches big in my 120 gallon (4x2x2) and I'm wondering if I can get a midas or red devil to grow out with them.

How would they get along? will the midas or red devil beat up my festaes or the festaes pick on him?

what you guys think ?
 
tried it before and it did not go over well. I dont see too many people saying that its a good idea.

its just to grow it out. who would beat who ?
 
RD & Midas outgrow festae by at least 5 to 1 IME. It might last for a few months, but I wouldnt give it any longer than that at such a small size.
 
yeah i mean i think you would have better luck with a midas than a red devil, but since they grow way faster than festae you would have issues when the midas has doubled in size and the festae have barely gotten any bigger....
 
i wouldnt reccommend that since RD/Midas grow faster than Festaes plus there way more aggressive..it might work for a short time but i cant see it for long..
 
I wouldn't recommend it, and You may have big trouble with just the festae, when they get a little bigger.They really hate their own kind
