Midas with sand?

Most of my tanks has a mix of 1/4 sand and 3/4 pea size gravels.

Im probly gonna leave a little bit of the gravel in so it kinda holds the sand in place from blowing in the water current from the filters. I dont think it will blow much but just to be sure ill leave some gravel in.
