I'll keep this thread rolling with any shots I take with DSLR or mirrorless bodies as I learn and play around with camera and lighting. All photos in this post shot with a7iii, canon 85mm 1.4, Godox Speedlight.

First two shots I'm lighting camera left bouncing it off ceiling with white card reflector for some fill, apologies for the dirty tank surface:

Next shot, light in same position except I'm pointing directly at the tank. I was trying to get some cool eating shots. It's really harder than it looks as I must have taken 30 shots to get one decent one:

This set of photos I'm using a 70-200 Sigma Zoom lens as I wanted to be further away as to catch their natural behavior. I'm surprised how sharp this lens is; so far producing my favorite shot. I had the main tank light on at full power and additional speedlight bounced off of the ceiling.

I have a couple AC110's running so it's producing lots of bubbles in these shots. I will likely turn them off for future shoots. Not the sharpest, but like the action:

This one was ALMOST epic but couldn't get it focused. Ah well, will try again next time:

I’ve had to turn my pump off a few times because of too many bubbles. Still neat looking shots!
I really love the lighting in your pictures.

It does give it some interest.

The hardest part is the fish being skittish when I turn on the bright lights and use flash.
