midevils with convicts

In my 50 gallon, yesterday my convict laid eggs and not one egg has been eaten. There is 5 convicts and 12 red devils. The only bad part about having them together is a few red devils and 1 convict has a tear in its fins. (This is a grow out tank until the red devils can't go down the filter in my 450 gallon.)
