i have no idea what those "steelheads" are. they look awesome. any info on them?

Their all salmon the two to the out side are Chinook and the kind of bluish silverish one in my left hand is a Coho or a steelhead just another name for them.

Berrien springs MI probably the best steel head fishing ive ever had go up every year and haven’t come back empty handed. Pics from last year the big one was 15 lbs and the two smaller ones were both a little over 7 lbs one was full of eggs.

That 15 lb is amazing some catch.

No that is not correct a Steelhead is an anadromous Rainbow Trout. Which is in no way shape or form the same as a Coho salmon.

Oops sorry that’s what ive thought they were all these years

Like Thor Meeki said, there's some great fishing down here in TN and KY. Pickwick is a long drive from anywhere in the midwest; the dam sits where Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee come together, and most of the lake is in AL. Kentucky and Barkley Lakes in western KY and TN are a bit closer and are great spots for largemouth, crappie, stripe, paddlefish, and giant cats (blues and flatheads). There's also a lot of great smallmouth fishing in the area, especially in free-flowing rivers like the Duck. Reelfoot Lake in northwest TN is another great bass and catfish fishery.
