get a '01 or '02 ss since they will come with the ls6 intake, they'll make slightly more HP and responds better with mods

i had a 99 trans am a few years ago. it was so much fun. tons of torque and a nice power band with a small cam

is it gonna be for street or strip? if strip do a th400 trans with a 4400 stall, trans break, built 408ci engine with a F1 procharger, 800+ hp, call it a day
