Whoa! glad the thread title was an exaggeration.Keeping that great tank and the best of the fish is stepping in the right direction.Growing out groups of fish and keeping the best or the favorites is very common in the hobby,nothing to feel bad about.
And while those busy heavily stocked tanks may be visually stunning its not whats best for the fish,or as you learned,the keeper.;)

But lucky for Angler we have great support for our fellow "CICHLA" keepers in this state of ours. Probably why I have such a high post count also 98% CICHLA post. And wow my PM count has to be outrageous. But Of course that jealousy thing! :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:I admit I am jealous but (I am not sure why!?!?!?!) :cry: :screwy:
 
Right on Mike. We need to have monthy support meetings at your house. It has been way too long since I've seen your Cichla, and I'm going through withdrawl!

You're right, I am jealous. I am jealous of people like jcardona and High City Ridah who have awsome, big, beautiful Cichla that are healthy and well cared for. These guys truly care about their Cichla, and they are the true representers of what MFKing should be all about.

Really the passion for Orino period is what were all loosing. JC was the true insight to Orino as far as I was concearned. I myself learned more about them from him then anyone and he came after me. So I just want to say thank you for pushing it to the limit and sharing with me. I hope I have done and continue to do the same for Cichla period. But man I am going to miss seeing that tank full of Orino's.
