Your photo skills have already improved a lot since the first posts Mike. I think that you should try putting some more lighting over what ever tank your shooting. I borrow strip lights from other tanks since I don't have external flash yet. Also turn out the room lights and shoot at night. You'll be amazed at the difference.
I normal shoot at night, but could not wait. Trying to figure out the new camera and it's little sutlities. I will get in time.
