I work for a credit card company and also they are teamed up with PayPal. PayPal has treated me well with the one and only time I have had a problem. But that was with a car part not a fish. But still was about 180.00 I did get my refund. Keep all communication . Email is best for records and using a credit card and PayPal is recommended for your protection. Make sure all shipments are with tracking numbers so you can prove if something was or was not sent

Good tip, I never had to ask for my money back. I didn't know there was issues with paypal
 
to tell the true people shouldnt mock people bad luck

that said Mick should come forward and have his say

rather than the mods shutting down EVERY thread about him they should send him a PM and give him time to reply

i dont agree with what has happened and if he has ripped so many people off with no option of refunding some or all of there money he should be moved to a state were they have the death penalty

but he is doing himself no favs by not coming forward the mods are also not helping him by shutting everything down

let this thread roll as its in the best intrest of the hobby to show others that when buying fish from the net even the big trusted sellers can rip you off

It's seriously crazy! I have read thread after thread on this and I personally know 3 people that have been jacked but aren't on the forums. One guy took his dead 5 figure doa ray to a doctor and they told him the tissue had been frozen for over 2 weeks! Everyone should grab a pitch fork and torches and go to his warehouse!!!

Correct, only way to do purchases with paypal is with a credit card. Then you file your dispute with the CC company. Better have every piece of communication and documentation. A charge back will be filed against seller.
Its how I got my refund for 1100, took 3 months and a lot of patience and persistence.
To my understanding paypal wont cover or protect purchasers of live animals at least anymore from what I was told.

Blimey!!! This is becoming more damning with each post, this guy needs to defend himself......if he can!.
 
Wow, and to think I inquired with him just a month or two ago on getting some rays. Glad I didn't pull the trigger...Went with Trev instead :)
I feel for the folks who got shafted. Mike will get his, karma is a b*tch...
