I like how it has 2 nozzles to spread out the flow.

That sucks. I'm loving bare bottom. Water changes are so simple. If anything, my tank looks blue-ish, but looks really nice. All the **** collects in one corner and I vacuum is out every 2-3 days and things stay cool. I have 6-8 new fish coming for the tank in the next few weeks. 3 will be here this weekend.

The FX5 is rock solid. It shuts down every 24 hours for 2 minutes to let any air that accumulates to vent itself. It's really awesome. It runs real quiet, so no complaints. The dual output nozzle is pretty good. I have them aimed for surface agitation and rely on a powerhead for bottom current. For $180, I won't be too fussy because you won't find a better filter for the money.
