6 inches is the max. Mine is near it, only 5 inches though. Your yoyo will develp reticulated patterns. They're prettier than the simple YOYO pattern.

I agree, my friends have a group of 7 5-6" yoyos. They are very nice looking, can't wait for my fellas to grow that big :D

It doesn't take a long time for them to reach that mark. 6-7 months will pretty much suffice assuming you are doing plenty of feedings and water changes.

I forgot to mention my loaches are smaller and in a 2ft.

I have a group of 10 in a 75 with some H.tamps, some Botia kubotai (4) & 2x-Dwarf Pike and they are doing awesome! The most enjoyable fish are my loaches.....They have done very well.....My largest is 5" and the smallest is 2".....

They would do okay with a small carpintis and cr. menezesi, right? I'll probably move some fish around soon so I've got the clowns and yo-yos with my green terror though.

They seem very sedentary. The old loach is very active, but these sit still on the bottom a lot.

How big are they? My adults are 4-5 inches and they're very active as well always foraging the bottom for food and even chasing each other around.

3-4 inches I think. They chase each other occasionally, but a lot of the time they are still. They don't appear to be eating either.

I swear Levi had one that was bigger. It must have been at least 7", probably more. Biggest one I have ever seen. It wasn't stocky, but it was long.

I'd try bloodworms for food, that usually gets them going. And check for heavy breathing.

They ate some brine shrimp, so I think they are probably just picky. They still aren't very active though.
