miles i need help!

You should be fine, I recently had the same thing happen with a female leo. I pulled it out and she was eating later that night here are some pictures. Only remove if the tip of stinger is exposed it will cause less damage. I could also not see the wound after I pulled it. I think what happens is they ingest the old stinger as there going thru the sand or taking in food and it gets pushed out from pressure of food. I did not add any meds just let it be. Was there any bleeding? None with mine.

Wish you the best of luck and know you feel. i am very concerned about my favorite fish right now too and I have nothing I can do about it..... Fingers crossed for ya
 
well thanks for the help everyone,My favorite ray just died.So much work to loose him like this.I was surprised how heavy he was when i took him out.
 
so sorry to hear... i know how it is... i just lost one of my favorite rays... my male hystrix last week... big bummer...
