Served in the German Army many moons ago. Tank Brigade. A few stints in the reserves before I moved to the US.

I would like to join the Army for a couple years but can't due to health problems. Respect everybody who is serving or has served, though.

I never joined the military but I outhiked a Marine and an Army reservist on a 31 mile backpacking trip. Both got picked up before the end. You can say what you want about this civilian but this guy can walk. Lol

My old man did jail time as a conscientious objector in the 70's, so when I was living at home a military career was sort of out of the question. I would've been better off joining rather than drifting from low paying job to low paying job for the last 7 years. Lol. Hindsight is 20/20.

Absolutely! Members from all branches of all nations (allied preferably). What was it Winston Churchill said? "We are two people separated by a common language". The other common phrase my father told me the Brits would say was "The only problems with Yanks is, they're overpaid, oversexed and over here".

Thank you all for serving. I wanted to get into the military for the longest time. I can physically handle it no doubt. I just don't think I can mentally handle it and I know that's a big part of it. Has always interested me though
