ok . the silicone on my new tank is still "milky" colored . so im thinking its not properly dry although im told its been stood 4 wks .

the silicone seems are not clear on the bottom or on the corners for that matter.

should i drain and let it dry or just carry on regardless ?

"clear" silicone is almost never clear like glass.. it almost always has a haze to it especially where its thick..

poke it with your finger.. if it does not smush around then IMO you are good

thanks guys . sounds good. i was hoping so was thinking it would proably take months for it to dry all the way through .

ill go put some water in :)

whats the tube say about drying time?

no idea. it was built for me guy said it should be ok but wanted to make sure as the i expected the silicone to be less of a milky color . . its about a quarter full at the moment anyhow .
