ive heard of people keeping them in small enclosures because it prevents them from gaining enough speed to injure themselves when they run into the glass, but a 4' x 2' x 2' should be doable
I didn't even know what they were till recently saw one while visiting a friend.
I saw one run from his front yard down the street while it rained and it was greased lightning.
Bigger is better with basilisks. I kept a trio of B. plumifrons in a large custom made cage that was 5'x3'x4'. You can keep babies in aquariums but a 55 for life ain't gonna happen.
My male Plumed was pretty tame. Not Beardie or Iguana tame, but tame for a Basilisk. Females on the other hand are usually pretty flighty and never become as tame as males.
they can kind of tame and agree stay way from a tank if you can they are glass bangers and also stay away from wood with holes in it there known for breaking toes
