Min tank size for snake

Their only a foot tall right? Breeders keep their snake in super short bins, now I do t agree with that but yes it is done. You snake will greatly appreciate the extra head room. :)
 
One thing to keep in mind is that the taller you go with the tank, the harder it will be to keep the humidity at levels where the bp likes it.....especially with a screen top. I have tall cages (22 inches), but they are made from expanded PVC and have a solid top with a sliding glass front, so I have no troubles with humidity.

It is true that a lot of people keep bp's in shallow tubs or rack systems, but i personally think they need something to climb on. It also helps they thermoregulate as they can get closer of farther from the heat source as desired.
 
Thanks for all the advice. I am going to return the 30 and get a 40 breeder, so I get some extra height. I'll probably leave the BP in the 65 and put the Bearded dragon in the 40 where she'll be happy for a long time!
