What is the minimun temp for a black rhombus? I have a guy who wants to buy mine but he cant come for a month. I have a 55g section on my pond that runs into a waterfall and i want to put him there until guy can pick it up. right now temp is 68*F but steady warming up.

he should be fine at that temp as long as he is acclimated properly, but they do best at 80f

the higher the temp to more active they are...the more active they are the more they eat.

temp should be 78f-84f....

anyone second this opinion?

yea i also agreed with Joe

Agreed.. but on the other hand Piranha take a while to acclimate to new surroundings .. so it may not be beneficial for that guy to wait so long if your going to stress him by lowering his temp.. and then moving him.. i wouldnt do it but thats just me..

i called a guy at an LFS and asked him if he'll rent a tank to hold the fish until the guy shows up. I'm going to keep the fish until may 1st, then take him to the LFS. the guy can pay the rent fee when he picks it up. If he does not show, LFS owner keeps the fish
