Tetras are best in groups and the bigger the group the better. Looks quite cool when you have a big group of them swimming about in mass.
Probably best to hold off on such a small tank. Here are ten Black Neon tetras with dwarf cichlids and a betta in a 20long20190714_221028.jpg20190714_220653.jpg20190714_184516.jpg20190629_113707.jpg

Yay I'll return him Sunday since my work hours tomorrow prevent it. I just wanted the catfish anyway. But got him instead of a sixth catfish.

Thanks although thinking they may want me to do a trade since I got them all on a gift certifacate. It was my birthday yesterday and my cousins knew I was planning to get some Corys so their present to me was a 60 dollar gift card to the LFS I got them from.

It won’t effect how you keep them or your enjoyment of them but you don’t have Julii cats, very, very few are ever seen in the hobby because of the area they come from. You have C. trilineatus, which is much more readily available, often known as the three line cory or the false juli cat. Check out planetcatfish.com and you will see the slight differences from spotting to squiggling pattern.
No real differences in size or how you keep them but a lot more information available and easier to breed.
Would take the tetra back and get another “juli” in my opinion. They won’t bother the fighter and he shouldn’t bother them and you look to have a great setup for them.
