has anyone tried putting a community of small cichlids together? minifishkeepers:) lol just wondering if like a female convict, kribs and bolivian rams are possible in a 30 long with maybe cory cats and some tropicals.

i tried the ram community with banjo cats and cory's
but the cons are too big and may kill the rams

probably right about the con . I figured maybe a female might work, they stay much smaller than males, but are agressive.

try rams, apistogrammas, key holes , and festivums.

I don't know if this is true but I heared somewhere that kribs like a bit of salt in their water?

what about a female honduran red point? i think they are very similar to cons but are far less aggressive.

I've been thinking about doing something like this on a large scale. I'd like to do a 125g amazon biotope. I wonder how many pairs of keyholes, apistos, BR, and GBR, and laetacara curviceps you could put in there....

I've had a dwarf cichlid tank. In order of dominance, GBRs, nanocarra, apisto, curviceps. Kribs are probably the most aggressive dwarf cichilds I've seen tho they mostly never try to hurt other fish, just let them know who's boss. Cons get to 6 inches so I don't really consider them dwarf. Most if not all dwarf cichlids fight but can't really hurt each other.

That was the next morning they do look better than cons though but bout same temperment
