So I have two mini dats in a 10 gallon and I woke up to find one has been attacked by the other and now his eye looks damaged. Would water temp or anything beside moving them to the main tank help lower the ones aggression? I have dithers in there but nobody seems to care about them at all, and the one just keeps going after the slightly smaller mini.

You need multiple Dats to spread the aggression. Most Dat keepers have at least 3, but I would go with 5.

yup, i agree, get more ... and put, if nothing else, 2 pieces of pvc pipe or similar tube or ball like structure or cave on either end of the tank so the one who gets beat can hide away from the other, which should minimize fighting ... its still gonna happen, but less frequently

+1
I have 6 dats together and they still fight, needs more to bring down the aggression as said above. Just like payara, african tigerfish and many other predatory beasts!

add some salt. you may need to separate for the time being (until you get more, or just keep one).

ok thanks. gonna try the pvc first, much cheaper since a baby IT goes for 30 bucks here, damn midwest, and then try to get more when the store has some again.

As already stated you really should have more tigers to help calm any aggression.
