That's Quikrete all purpose gravel I found from Lowes. All the gravel I found in the garden section at Lowes or HD increased my pH level.
Then I came across this one and if you read the description it said that it can be used for fishpond and aquarium, here's the link

Test with a small bucket and after couple days my water pH looks the same so I guess it should be fine.

200lbs only cost me $15.50, and 6hrs of washing. still somewhat dirty but I just couldn't take it anymore so I'm letting my FX5 finish the job off.
