Not one for crossing fish ( he says having just bought two rtcxtsn) but it does look nice.
Some sort of pengasiusxrtc - never owned one or indeed seen one for sale.
Would not like to guess final size if it makes it to adulthood.
It would seem these man made hybrids of this kind Pimelodid x Pangasid are not viable. Chances are they will not grow to adulthood and don't live for long. Thank goodness IMhumO.
Yeah its a Paroon x RTC , i know the breeder personally . The Paroon Parent is a short bodied paroon. He has kept one to around 2 foot length. i do agree the Pimelodid x Pangasid hybrids are not really viable , i have kept ID Sharks x RTC hybrids before and they all just randomly died in under a month but the ones i am keeping now are very active and big eaters. here is the bigger hybrid i am talking about : ( the biggest i have ever seen and i really love the look of him)
They eat like pigs, always with big belly. But growth is unexpectedly slow, it has grown an inch only since the last time i posted (6.5" now).
One turns light colored and the other turns very dark. Will get a feeding clip next time
